At Rye Lea Farm, we host only two picnics each day so we can prepare the property just for your group. Every picnic space is arranged with care, surrounded by the rolling fields and historic structures of Montgomery County’s Agricultural Reserve.

 

What’s Included

Your $450 picnic reservation includes everything you need for a beautiful, relaxed gathering:

• Four-hour private picnic (11 AM–3 PM or 5 PM–9 PM)

• Use of our historic farm setting for photos

• Reserved parking for your group

• Access to restrooms

We can comfortably host up to 30 guests.

This makes Rye Lea Farm ideal for:

• Birthday picnics

• Bridal & baby showers

• Family gatherings

• Girls’ night / adult groups

• Painting & wine nights

• Small corporate or team retreats

Food & Beverage

• Guests will bring their own food and drinks.

• Alcohol is permitted for adults 21+ (BYOB).

• We can also provide a list of recommended caterers and grazing board vendors upon request.

 

Weather

Because we are an outdoor farm experience, weather can shape the day:

• Light rain: we do our best to adjust the setup

• Severe weather: you may reschedule according to our rescheduling policy

• Weather and cancellation policies are displayed clearly at booking

 

Farm Expectations

To help preserve the historic property and ensure everyone’s safety:

• Please stay within the designated picnic area

• Children must be supervised

• No climbing on farm structures

• Well behaved pets are welcome

• Smoking is not permitted​​
