Cancellation Policy

We’re delighted you’re planning a visit to Rye Lea Farm. Because we host only two picnics each day (11 AM–3 PM and 5 PM–9 PM), we prepare the farm specifically for your group.

 

These guidelines help us take great care of every guest while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Booking
• Picnic reservation: $450 per event
• A 50% deposit ($225) is required to hold your date and time
• The remaining balance is due 7 days before your picnic

If Your Plans Change
We understand that unexpected things come up.
• 14+ days before your picnic: deposit fully refunded
• 7–13 days before your picnic: 50% of your deposit refunded
• Less than 7 days: deposit is non-refundable

If You Need to Reschedule
We’re happy to help you shift to a new date when possible.
• 14+ days before your picnic: one complimentary reschedule
• Less than 14 days: $50 rescheduling fee
• Less than 72 hours: rescheduling isn’t available; deposit is forfeited

Weather at the Farm
Picnics are held rain or shine. At this time, we have one covered space—The Pig House—available for light weather.

If severe or unsafe conditions are expected (such as thunderstorms, high winds, or hazardous weather), you may choose:
• A complimentary reschedule within 12 months, or
• A full refund of your deposit

Your comfort and safety always come first.

No-Show Policy
If your group hasn’t arrived within 60 minutes of your scheduled start time and we haven’t heard from you, the event is considered a no-show and all payments are forfeited.
